Where are you based?
Los Angeles is where I call home, but my events have taken me across the globe from Sayulita to Sydney. Whether it’s local or international, my mantra remains the same: create a high-touch experience that allows you to enjoy the celebration and be fully present.
Do you only photograph weddings?
Though weddings are my bread and butter, you can find me capturing so much more. From corporate events, maternity and family sessions to mitzvahs and milestone birthdays, I'm always ready to record these important moments in your lives. I also do some commercial work with an emphasis on interior design through my sister brand, Inside Inside.
How would you describe your style?
I consider myself a lifestyle photographer with a documentary-forward approach. My ultimate goal is to simply allow you to be present and capture the most candid, natural moments.
Do you shoot film?
I work with both digital photos and analog film, incorporating both mediums into all of my wedding collections. About 85-90% of my final galleries are digital images, and about 10-15% are film scans.
Do you offer coverage for multi-day events?
Multi-day celebrations are actually my specialty! Getting to capture a full weekend or more with my couples allows for next-level trust to build between my subjects (you & your guests) and me, which always results in images that feel like a close friend captured them.
How do we book?
First things first: get in touch. I’ll gleefully double-check my calendar and then reach out to set up a call. After we’ve discussed your event, I will carefully prepare a proposal based on your photography needs (and dreams). That is where you’ll confirm your Jess Onesto booking with a signed contract and paid retainer.
